Transformational Teaching & Learning Conference

The Transformational Teaching & Learning Conference is presented by the CTE and ITS organizations of Texas A&M University. With the purpose of celebrating and promoting a culture of teaching excellence, and innovation at the university. The conference scheduled many discussions and presentations for the attendees.

While assisting, I took note of the appreciation the guests had for both the complimentary meals and the fun name tags. The name tag stickers provided personalization and a conversation starter among the attendees and the volunteers. However, I would only suggest that when an event has a registration table upon entry, that there be at least 3 stations, dividing the alphabetized last names, to minimize time and streamline the process. Especially, with events of 150 or more.

Job Duties:

• Set-up chairs for symposium room.

• Greet and assist guests.

• Register and provide attendees with the required information.

• Provide directions as needed.
